I'm currently working with some work that requires a lot of cut & paste, and after repeating the same task over and over, I desided to make a Windows clipboard manager, portable usb program, to help reduce the workload.
PasteCopy.NET is the first application I've made in the programming language VB .NET and don't require any installation (except .NET), and can be used as portable usb program. PasteCopy.NET is freeware.
How to use PasteCopy.NET
- Download and extract PasteCopy.zip, and start by clicking PasteCopy.exe
- From the file menu, add at least one category
- Now you copy some text using Ctrl+C or right mouse button, or click "Print Screen" to get a screenshot. (If you press "Alt" button simultaneously you get a screenshot from only the window with focus
- Select one of the categories, and click "Paste Clipboard" or press Ctrl+V
- Once you have added all phrases, you click on a phrase or a screenshot, and it will be copied to the clipboard
- Finally you paste the phrase somewhere, using Ctrl+V or right mouse-click
- Rearrange categories and phrases with drag'n drop
- Display Phrase Length: No. of characters in phrase / Width x Height of Images
- Auto Save Phrases: Automatically save phrases on exit
- Ask for Image Name: When pasting a screenshot, choose a image name. (If not it will be named Image 1, Image 2...)
- Convert Rtf To Txt: Automatically convert pasted rtf text to regular text (remove formatting)
- Preview Options:
- Show Preview: Resize preview manually
- Auto-Size Preview: Size of preview are adjusted automatically
- Auto-Hide Preview: Size of preview are adjusted automatically, but are automatically hidden when mouse are not over a phrase
- Stretch Image: Stretch preview image as opposed to zoom the image
